The following terms and conditions (the “Rules”) will apply to all entries in the competition run by Clarion Events Limited (the “Organiser”) to win a cash prize to the value of £10,000. By entering this competition, all entrants agree to abide by each and all of the Rules.

Entry: All entrants must be over the age of eighteen (18) years upon the date of entry. The competition is open to participants at the iGB L!VE event.

Each entrant is invited to enter into this competition at the Pulse Theatre, London ExCeL on Wednesday 2nd July 2024

Deadlines: The closing date for entries shall be Friday 23rd May at 6.00pm (GMT). Any entries received after this time shall NOT be eligible for entry into the competition. The winners will be announced at the Pitch iGB event on Wednesday 2nd July 2024.

Selection of winning entry: All entries must sign up for Pitch iGB through the iGB L!VE Website to be eligible for the prize competition. The top 5 products will be selected by the Organiser and judging selection and invited to present at the pulse theatre at iGB L!VE. The competition will be judged in front of a panel of judges at the panels sole and absolute discretion. Entries must be original products created by the entrant and presented onsite at the Pulse theatre, ExCeL London.

Prizes: The competition winner shall receive a cash prize of £10,000. The competition prize shall be strictly reserved for the competition winner only and the winner shall not be entitled to sell, transfer or assign the benefit of the prize to any third party.

Promotion: The photos and videos produced by the Organiser, may be used on iGB L!VE’s digital media, social media platforms or print media channels to showcase the entries submitted. This personal information will in no circumstances be passed on to third parties.

Miscellaneous: The Organiser reserves the right, with or without cause, to exclude any entrant(s) and also to withhold any prizes for any violation of the Rules. By entering this competition, each entrant: acknowledges and agrees that each submitted entry shall be licensed by the entrant to the Organiser for use in connection with the promotion and marketing of Pitch iGB on an irrevocable, perpetual, royalty-free, worldwide basis.

Cancellation: The Organiser reserves the right at any time to cancel, postpone, curtail, change its territorial location, the venue, modify or supersede the competition (including altering prizes) if, in the Organiser’s sole discretion, the competition is not practical, or capable of being conducted as specified due to circumstances beyond the Organiser’s reasonable control. In the event of the competition being postponed, curtailed, change in its territorial location, change in venue, cancelled or modified, the Organiser shall not have any liability whatsoever arising from such cancellation or modification.

Liability: The Organiser shall not be liable to the entrants for any liability in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise for any loss of business, revenue or profits, anticipated savings or wasted expenditure, loss or damage of or to personal equipment belonging to the entrants or any indirect or consequential loss or damage whatsoever arising out of the entrants taking part in the competition or any other matter arising under these Rules. Without limiting the foregoing, the Organiser shall not be liable for any actions of any third parties unless otherwise set out herein. Nothing in these Rules shall limit the Organiser’s liability for death or personal injury caused by their employees or agents’ negligence or for fraud. The total liability of the Organiser however arising shall be limited to £200.

Warranty: Each entrant warrants: (a) their presentation complies with all applicable laws; and (b) does not infringe on the intellectual property rights of any third party.

Anti-bribery and Corruption: all entrants shall comply, and shall procure that its authorised employees, sub-contractors, agents or any person acting on its behalf complies, with the Bribery Act 2010. If entrants or any of its authorised employees, sub-contractors, agents or any person acting on its behalf commits an offence under the Bribery Act, the Organiser shall be entitled: (a) to terminate the Agreement with immediate effect by written notice to the entrant and recover from the entrant the amount of any loss resulting from the termination; (b) to recover from the Sponsor the amount or value of any such gift, consideration or commission received; (c) to recover from the Sponsor any other loss sustained as a result of any breach of this clause 11, whether or not the terms and conditions are terminated

Governing law and jurisdiction: These Rules and entry into this competition shall be governed by English law and shall be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

Exclusion: Employees of Clarion events Group and the Organiser are excluded from entering the competition.
